from experience companys will say an announcement is coming. They obviously have a client, but without jumping the gun, they need to sign off on a lot of requirements and obligations before they can announce deal set in stone..This is normal practice for any business..how long this may take ,depends on what regulatory requirements there are,or conditions that need to be met..to announce a deal and who the client may be before all these requirements are signed off on,would not be very professional, and would be damaging to the company.Especially if there was a hiccup in proceeding towards sign off.And suddenly the deal didnt come off..When the time comes and all is good with the deal, the announcement is made, price spikes..we can say aahhh, now that wasnt so bad after all was it!
