Ok, I have verified "most" of what I needed to know from BHP's own reports, look for yourself at their pilbara expansions and you can see FMG's core grade is in fact better than BHP's - and worst than Rios. I didnt say they were going to halve their costs, I said the report estimates FMG's costs will end up half of BHP/Rio's. This is due to the orientation of the deposit and the use of the "untested" surface miners. THIS IS WHY THEY ARE USING THE SURFACE MINERS!!! To lower costs. They're not "better" at mining than BHP/Rio, the deposit they have is simply in a better spot and they're going to use better methods to extract it.

Now as I've said before, there is definately risk that the surface miners won't work out as planned, but we should know that in the next month or 2 anyways.

I am prepared to lose plenty of money on this, and I'd lose more again if I could get it. They've made me a power of cash so far, and who knows? Maybe you could leave off ignorant and gullible eh? After all, I'm not the one who said they had "relatively low grades" before checking it out. Who's the ignorant one? :)
