IMHO, it is not a matter of being greedy my friend.
It is a matter that many of us here aren't traders. Therefore, we invest for the long term, in the hope that it will give us good constant returns in the form of dividends at one stage or another, on top of capital appreciation.
For the trader, yes greed could have come into it, but for the long termer, IMHO it wouldn't have.
