Yes, as I understand it. The people paying the pension should deduct the tax up front. I expect they would have asked you to complete a form re any other income and the tax free threshhold. I am not an expert, just trying to understand. Suggest you check with an accountant. (Apols - I haven't looked at this bit of HC for a while. HC should notify us of comments re our posts? ).
