I can’t see labor doing it again at all. They managed to infuriate a lot of left leaning wealthy people and retirees who’d build decades of investment strategy on it. The last straw was Chris Bowen on Q&A smirking and saying, “well, if you don’t like it, don’t vote for us.” How’d that work out, numpty? The class war is over for now. Emergence of teal independents threatens them even more from this corner in the long term.
