budget at risk

Well well well.
First we get a carbon tax, now the sacrosanct budget surplus is at risk.

I am totally surprised!

I never thought that the ALP would lie to the electors before the election, I fully expected them to honor each and every pledge, and to balance the books at the same time.

After all, they demonstrated such excellent capability in their last term with the BER, insulation scheme, etc etc.

Why would I have ever doubted them???
