philip, neither can they work it out.....swan has no idea what he is talking about...nor his backroom support...they push him out there and tell him what to say...
he trips up easy, every time....he just has a mantra...in response to any questions...

plenty of other countries with iron ore....china can buy from them, with nice low taxes....then when that happens the budget is obsolete...
no mining royalties for the state govnuts, no income from the other miners....no income...therefore no money left for spending
Canada for one has welcomed them with open arms...
anyway it is discrimination....whichever way you look at it...why not a bankers tax...they have massive profits, or should they have a special tax for the food take away industry...see how ridiculous it looks
