tinnitus - given the situation of the Labor Party (doomed at the next election) I thought the budget was actually reasonably responsible except for the Education money which unless it addresses the actual behaviour of students will not deliver value for money - ask any teacher because that is a simple fact and secondly the Disability Insurance Scheme which whilst absolutely necessary is now something we may struggle to afford primarily because we gave away 600 dollars to vast number of people (i.e. spent the savings and maxed the credit cards on complete crap)

So the incoming Government will have to deal with this mess

BUT - the biggest issue I have is that Wayne Swan even as close as last September could not for see a 18 Billion Dollar blow out in his budget - that is pure armature stuff - so how tinnitus unless you are a die-hard Labourite - how could you believe we will be back in surplus in 4 years - stuff of dreams I'm afraid

No doubt your answer will be but Tony Abbott would have been worse - history tells us you blokes spend the money and the Lib's come in and fix the problems -
