DaveR, financial/economic managers this govt is not.
Labs have always had a bad record in this regard.
At least if the Libs were in govt, we would have a more decisive govt that didn't piddle round the edges.
Typical of this govt when Tanner,Rudd and Swann all avoided answering questions about a possible defecit.
In fact they all said that the thought of going into a defecit didn't even come into their thinking.
And surprise,surprise, now only a week or two later,they say they will have to go into defecit.
Don't know why they couldn't be honest in the first place as the labs' should be used to running a defecit whilst in govt.They always have as they are useless economic managers.
