The biggest facing the government at the moment is the situation they have placed the institutions classed as non banks ,many have had to freeze withdrawals as all their customers want their money out to place their funds in a gov guaranted bank .At the moment we have a stalemate however when eventually they have to begin paying withdrawals there will be such a run on them many will go to the wall.This of course could have been avoided if anyone in the gov had even a smidgen of nouse and knowledge of the banking system.
