Can we stop bringing up cr@p from previous governments back to Fraser Hawke et al?

I mean why don't we blame McMahon or Menzies or Holt for today's problems??

Mr Rudd went to the people presenting a fresh change from the Howard line.

Fair enough, Howard had overstayed his welcome and Mr Rudd won convincingly.

So now I am entitled as a citizen to judge HIS and HIS GOVERNMENT'S performance or otherwise accordingly. So far I mark him down heavily as in 12 months they have failed to achieve anything other than symbolic gestures on climate change and aboriginal reconciliation, and have demonstrably bungled several of their pre-election policy commitments.

Get through the spin, the grandiose media statements, and look for substance and achievement. It isn't there in any great fashion. Rudd Revolution?? I don't see it yet.
