Family tax benefits is a big one and in my view Howard's greatest mistake. Families with incomes well over $100k a year getting welfare is beyond ridiculous, then there's childcare subsidies, Albo wanted(not sure if he's implemented it) to give subsidies to people earning up to something stupid like $300k a year.

Welfare should be a bare minimum for those that absolutely need it, the stupidity of the money-go-round that is Canberra needs to be cut right back. Giving them money so they can give a little back is just stoopid ... and as someone with no kids, I am sick of paying for everyone elses
