Yes I think the budget is generally fair and responsible. It addressed some long neglected important areas such as mental health funding and job training. Pity there was not enough money left to address shortcomings in public dental care but we are told that will be dealt with next year.
I can not see anything of great significance to criticize in this budget and that might explain Joe Hockey looking like such a goose when he tried to say how terrible it was.
