    I think the budget was sound.

    However, the idea to tie teachers' bonuses to those NAPLAN tests (if that's how it's going to be done, and I think that is their intention?) is ridiculous policy. So flawed that's it's hard to know where to start with the criticism of the idea.

    I think the Coalition's idea of allowing the principal to decide is much better, and even it has flaws. But then, there's probably always going to be possible flaws with any policies associated with employee performance evaluation.

    How the hell some bureaucrat is going to choose which teachers deserve reward, by looking at NAPLAN test results, is too ridiculous for words.

    Surely, that cannot be the sole criterion. I must check it out further..........
