Don't expect any assistance from this government unless you can find some coal out there in the Cooper. A very disappointing budget. I feel with all this emphasis on inflating fighting they ought to have been aware that the primary cause of inflation is skyrocketing global energy prices. In most other countries this is acting as a major motivation to develop renewable energy. Here its perceived as a threat to our coal exports. GDY really needs to show how it can be an income earner in its own right - preferably without reliance on a carbon price. From his ongoing support of technologies like coal to liquids, its clear that the resources minister doesn't give a stuff about climate change.
