budgie smugglers

We did a small MBA assignment on the ASX and one syndicate member included HC in her research. To cut a long story short I have jumped into MAE as a result.

Well, I have just registered on HC and spent a few days looking over the posts. Wow, there are some weird and wonderful people here and what is with the Grassy Knoll thing? No gas there, just gunsmoke.

I have toe, well ankle, in the water and am now wondering if I should wet the budgie smugglers.

Can someone please give me a well reasoned "state of play" with MAE, without the hype. What is known with high pr and what is a guess?? Straight talk preferred until I learn the language of this thread.
