AUD would not worry Buffet in the least, as greater share of business in USD and EUR. In fact the 25-30% of Australasian business probably would appeal to balancing his currency scales!
as for the QBE share price
He could always make a bid in USD, and let QBE shareholders decide. With a recovering USA economy, currency could be his friend during the course of a bid process. Yes if the AUD corrects on downside then ordinarily we would expect to see the QBE price rise.
