    buffet must be regarded as one of the most astute investors of our time and for him to outlay some 44 billion dollars on a railway business must speak volumes for the future of rail ,in america and certainly australia particularly so with respect to carbon trading etc. and efficiency of rail over road transport,energy and fuel wise. asciano will rise from the ashes.
