Buffett's portfolio held across several entities but 90% plus in superfund.
CNP now 2nd largest holding behind UMC & less than 20% of total holding.
Buffett has a belief in concentrating on a few key stocks with big stakes, that way the wins are very good. Given UMC is an iron ore play i.e. resources & CNP is a property play i.e. financials, they are not directly correlated.
In fact recently resources rose while financials dropped & in the last few weeks this has changed again.
Still main emphasis on resources/fertilzer style stocks due to demand. CNP is really about buying discounted assets.
