Giant rabbit terrorises town From: From correspondents in Felton April 10, 2006 IN a dramatic case of life imitating art, armed guards have been called in to protect horticulturalists in a small northern English town from a rampant giant rabbit.
The monster rabbit, whose exploits have been likened to the plot of the Oscar-winning Wallace and Gromit film, Curse of the Were-Rabbit, is apparently big enough to rip prize leeks out of the ground and munch whole rows of onions and carrots. The council has authorised drastic action.
