I am 54 and I hope I can go into transition to retirement.
I beleive I coudl save a fair amount of money by doing so.
I will open a pension account and withdraw some after opayuing 15 % as opposed to much higher interest right now.

Thats an advantage to me.

I have most in a cash deposit and its topped up monthly from that interest meaning it compounds. I pay 15 % of those gains whihc is 15 % of 6 % which really is only just shy of 1 % (I can live with that)
