Sally_Will, You said ....You just can't make comparisons between the two because they are like chalk and cheese.....imo. What I am saying everyone one in Austria is entitled for pension according to their last salary, no means tested, If that scheme was that bad , why only politicians and top public servants holding to that scheme in big secrecy? It is very simple Sally , you can get $ 100 000 plus indexed for life , no audits , no worries about fluctuating markets.
Sally_Will, says .... Why would you or should you be entitled to a pension ? Basically if I was doing absolutely nothing for past 30 years just bludging and boozing, I would be entitled for pension . Am I correct ? Now I am entitled for means test.
