I dont mean they are intending to just show the actual cavity, i mean they are showing the option of attaching a cavity brick wall to the existing structure, tying into it etc. You still have to maintain a 40mm cavity between internal and external masonry walls, even in WA with maxibrik internals, the outer leaf has to have a 40mm cavity. I'm just calling it a cavity wall because that's what it's called as it's single leaf.

So what would be the purpose of showing a comparison between bricks and blocks? Of course blocks will be much faster than a brick wall, even manually laying blocks without the HX is much faster, what would be the point of comparing that? it's a moot point. The HX would be predominantly marketed to builders and devlopers, i'm sure they're fully aware that the HX laying blocks will be much faster than manually laying a brick wall without seeing a comparison wall.

If it is a 'comparison' wall it's a ridiculous comparison imo.
