you contradicted yourself too and yes words are important!... and they are a big deal for context!
"still collapsing at a rate of 10 per day" contradicts your later comment "circa 2.500 building firms having already gone belly up over the past 3 years" and you think one word doesn't matter?
Also it's worth noting that "building firms" includes ALL trades and services involved and that takes a fair bit of heat out of the still collapsing at a rate of 10 per day. It appears you've added your own interpretation from the get go. You do that quite often putting your own spin on things but I couldn't be bothered bringing it to your attention most of the time.
