Corvy It should be 5x5.5 not 4.5 You can use a lot of different gear ,it all depends on cost . How much material do you want to shift . We used to develop the declines with a twin boom jumbo and develop the ore drives at 2.4x2.4 with air leg and 2yard loaders .The mine i am in now uses 50t trucks and twin boom jumbo,s that bore 4m rounds to develop the decline . the ore drives are put in with single boom jumbo,s that bore 3m rounds and are approx 4x4 depending on the ore width and bogged with 1300 boggers And yes you can get 30t trucks that would do the job fine and instead of big 2900 boggers you can get 1700 boggers have a nice day .IF you want to look at elphi gear look up its web site in tassie
