New York state has now decided to join the search for a superbeing by imposing their views of what constitute a human being as worthy of an education. Strick rules have now been imposed by kidergartens (and back by the State through funding) as to which child is eligible to enter their supreme halls of learnig. If the baby cannot walk within the first twelve months of its life, it's nada to him or her and nada to its parents; if can not say daddy by the same length of time it's nada again. Once they get the nod, however, the parents have to pay exhorbitant fees to keep the poor little (so far) innocent child in that fascist kinder when kinder time comes. (Parents ask the State of NY to send their inspectors to their homes, if their intention is to send their kid to one of those schools.)
It is obvious that this exercise is stupid because:
a) different kids develop different skills at different times.
b) discriminates against those kids born with some physical or mental disabilty (probably because the air of NY sends off so many chemicals into the nostrils of its inhabitants)
c) It drains tax payers' money allocated for education, into such idiotic centres of "moron is good, smart is no good" (and thus perpetuating an already anti-smart society.
d) The child is in constant stress right up to the end of Uni studies when god-knows what a wreck of a human being he'd be!

Reminds me of someone who lived in the early to mid 20th C.
