If SBM's corporate strategy is a rising gold price, they're hosed. There's no doubt, they must get their costs down.
Personally, I was encouraged by the straight-up, forthright presentation of facts in the quarterly. It made a pleasant change from the disaster that was 2008. I put the new communication style down to new management.
Lets see if the apparent integrity translates into financial results...
