There is still the ownership of the items and work that the builder has spent the clients money on and this is a major problem as if the builder cannot complete due to financial or work problems it can take years to sort the problems before the clients/owners can appoint anther builder to complete the work
If a builder is going bad they will usually start to take short cuts so the quality falls below acceptable standard so rectification has to be done before the work can progress, adding to cost and time all the while the client is paying interest on a house he is unable to do anything with
