@pintohoo; when governments cause the problem by imposing lockdowns / international sanctions related to conflicts etc the answer is a simple one!
When governments establish systems and processes that are easily exploited by morally bankrupt / corrupt builders & developers gaming those structures / processes the courts should deal with the them, their accountants and company directors while customers should be supported by government.
When lenders don't do due diligence before providing customers with loans they should be held responsible and if customers stuff up they should be prosecuted through the courts.
Of course that's NOT what's been happening in Australia after the Coalition slashed and burned '
red tape' and allowed corporate cowboys, crooks and fools to run amok.
