Yep and for a 1.7 million ton plant per year as purposed you only need to truck 194 ton per hour to Porgera which would be a 30 to 40 Km round trip.

A fleet of 194 one ton great wall of china utes should do just fine, at a cost of $17 990 drive away you will get change out of 3 and a half million smackers.

Seriously its a good project and with Porgera at reduced output adding 160 000 ounces to it would be a minimal process cost. Bit like a plane half full of pasengers, airlines costs are the same with less revenue. Take over target for sure.

I'm a current share holder of HIG and if you look at what they are doing in the star mountains spending tens of million looking for a deposit to feed Ok Tedi which is also at half rates and looking to close in about 10 years. Exact same situation here I think but IDC have already found a winner, toll treat the ore or sell the project to Barricks for a premium.
