    Hi guys,

    I'm interested in building a portfolio around a core of LICs. I recently found that I wasn't experienced enough to pick stocks that would outperform the market so would be happy to leave it in the hands of professionals.

    With that said, what do you think is the best way to start building my holding in LICs? I was thinking I would have an amount to invest from each month's pay but not sure the best method for assessing these stocks? Is a greater discount to NTA the be all and end all for comparison? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
