Well, the growth was for one quarter. One quarter does not a trend make. Record low unemployment was inherited from Obama. It was already very low and that trend did not accelerate. It was a straight line. In fact all the economic indicators continued their straight line trend from the Obama administration. In fact the rate of jobs growth has slowed under Trump though the percentage unemployed is slightly lower. There is only one direction from here left and that's upward. The US economy will get a sugar hit from his highly irresponsible tax cuts but long term this is not good news. Most economists agree on this.
