Great post adent. Like you I think there is a significant investment case here for governments both State and Federal to back the FBR story. Let's assume the mass production plant for FBR cost $58m per the rough calculation above and was producing 6.18 Hadrian X per day, that would be the equivalent of 1,483 units per year (6.18 units per day x 5 days per week x 48 weeks per year = 1,483 units produced per year). Total revenue would be $2,966,000,000 Aud per year (1,483 x $2m Aud = $2.966b). Subtract an assumed per unit manufacturing cost per unit including fixed and variable costs to FBR of $700k, a net profit of $1,927,900,000 would be realised ($1,300,000 x 1,483 units = $1,927,900,000) with tax at 30% the Australian Government would pick up $578,370,000 in income tax revenue alone. Quite a sensible investment for any government if you ask me, given the year on year tax dollars that will be recouped and the associated industries and jobs that would be created.

Probably worth checking my calcs, it's been a long day.
