A mature department store business attracts investment mainly for its dividend, so I consider your claim a bold one. 18-24 months of no dividend would see the share price at the end about where it is today. even with vigorous share buybacks.
I don't see the balance sheet needing that level of repair. MYR has already been re-capitalised and intangibles halved.
Perhaps you could enlighten us as to why you read things this way.
