WorleyParsons, the engineering company of the previous project for the construction of the nuclear power plant Belene, won successfully an arbitration against the state-owned National Electric Company (NEC) for the project termination, local media reported. NEC was sentenced to pay EUR32m to WorleyParsons as a fine for the contract termination.
