A counter to your point is that peace does not need to be declared in order to switch on the oil and has been proved with our neighbors recently at OMV.
I dont expect the current offensive in the North will be a very long affair, but the taking of the Capital may take a long time. That would probably be a siege tactic, however once the port has been liberated, IMO the war is over.
Regardless, we only need the decision. Everything is in in place. The trucking gantry has been made and is at port awaiting shipping. (although I hope we go straight to pipe).
