AGM votes show a major part of the problem of why VMT share price has underperformed for so long. Top 10 holders are either management or their mates, and none of them appear to understand the stock market, governance and investing. It’s a waiting game for the current large holders to give up and move on, wait for an influx of more focussed insto investors who will set company management on a path to delivering shareholder returns. Sadly, the majority of Hot Copper investors seem to understand what is going on with VMT more so than the top 10-20.

Until then this BAU underperformance will continue. What makes it worse is someone is on Hot Copper telling us it’s been great, real salt in the wound to regular investors, as Hot Copper was supposed to be about investing and investors, not aggressively pumping company IR info.
