This was my checklist, current average 6892 fully de-risked. Bit different for short but same same overall for larger moves for me.

I break it into Mean Revert (complete), breakout (in progress), trend - yet to confirm. OT is right, seeding it is the hard part because we have to take risk without any confirmation. If we take it late, like a hold of 832/45 on the close then we need much larger stops or micro manage for hours so that's not comfortable either. Damned if we do damned if ya don't with trading! Longs now on the right side of the V I reckon. Hope this helps someone for future methodology.
