Japanese purchases of American icons like Colombia Pictures and The Rockafella Centre in the 1980s caused outrage in the American public. But the crashing of their property and stock market bubble ended up putting an end to all that.

China has 10 times the population and a government that can fix the rules in their favour but I wonder if they will suffer the same fate? What do you think?

DId you say more than 30%? Where are you getting these figures from more dubious news articles? I mean 'research'.
