Moon claimed that lending was dropping insinuating that demand might fall ( and prices ) as he is bearish .
He didn't say why lending was dropping which is a very important part of the detail . If it was dropping because there was less people in the market i.e population flat lining or dropping then that would mean that demand is dropping .
Unfortunately he didn't add any detail or evidence so we don't know the basis of his claim . I suspect it might have something to do with tighter lending rules but , as usual , he's forgotten to post the facts .
What we do know is that population is increasing and is predicted to increase at least until 2050 .
We don't know if people are " less interested " in buying . Clearance rates in Mel/Syd would indicate that people are still interested .
