Good to finally see some discussion about Origin.

I don't use charting much, so I won't comment on your work Lindfield, but I think that Origin is a good long term buy. Couple of positive points:

    - Good exposure to CSG, which once again is generating positive headlines.
    - Good exposure to LNG, which is playing an increasingly important role in energy supply worldwide
    - Good exposure to a range of 'green energy' options when these are likely to become more important (e.g. wind, geothermal, photovoltaic).
    - Solid position in east coast gas and electricity supply, with growing population.
    - Experienced management team that has a history of delivering results for shareholders.
    - No debt problems.

    On the down side:

    - Domestic gas (over)supply may hold down price that can be charged to customers
    - A bit behind the others on Gladstone CSG
    - Some non-CSG fields are declining.

Overall though, I don't expect the share price to surge any time soon. It's a good company, which is a solid long term investment, but it's not going to make you rich in the next couple of years (unless a takeover offer comes along).
