I read somewhere that suicide was the leading cause of death in Aboriginal children/youth. So it's more than likely a kitchen table subject for the indigenous. Kids pick up on that kind of banter and this kid's sister, Guyala, is a well known activist for aboriginal causes, so he's probably exposed to a whole lot of emotive stuff..
