    alternative to the line your suggesting, I have a line starting at the gap down Nov 13th cross those tops. It now has 4 touches and so might be a valid short term trend.

    I found myself having to chang my chart every few days with the normal way of drawing the line as time went on. Now I keep an eye on both of those lines.
