Manipulation is the key word there.
With continued printing of fiat the world over and even Japan now saying they will double their monetary base within two years and stock markets in the U.S floating on nothing more than MOPE, the only safe haven left for people the world over very shortly will be precious metals. That is the very reason why central banks the world over are buying Gold at the moment while at the same time engineering a fall in price.
The worlds economy is a slow train wreck at the moment and printing money from thin air is not going to save it.
