The other thing about Uber, which I use religiously here in Manila ( I am also on a long term Airbnb condo booking and am actively using it now to scout for places in Jakarta and Bangalore for my next posting ) is that they closely vet the quality of cars that they allow to drive for them. When I book an Uber, I know that a spotless, late model, immaculately clean owner operated car is going to pull up and that I am going to be met with a smile and a " Hi Delta.....how are you today !". And that....my peeps.....is cool-aboration in a nutshell. People for the people RIGHT ON.
