Open Pit, close to surface

1 g/t - Shocker, you need 50 Million ounces etc. Big big mine.

3 g/t - You can do business at this grade if its close to surface and you have enough ounces.

5 g/t - You are hard tp please if you aint happy with that unless you have a small orebody.

Underground - Hard to generalise. All sorts of consiederations but if you haven't got lots of 5 g/t or better you may as well leave it there until the price of gold lets rip is my view. Although if someone has spent 1000 years digging the tunnels for you nearby that can turn things around a bit.

8 g/t is cooking with gas, even SBM will make a big quid out of that (just get rid of your dogs mines SBM).

Sweden is an underground operation. If anyone thinks its open pit they should immediately consider doing some research.
