Mostly they will be happy enough to be on a winner even if at multiples of this price, they can sit and wait, no issue buying higher levels later, it’s mostly someone else’s money anyway I see this as my advantage while buying, but will leave it at that, I don’t want to pop the down-rampers exuberant bubbles, given what has been a fairly static SP over recent months.

I do have another point though. That early year move from 7c to 11c was due largely to the 2016 4^th Q results and has stayed around the 10c mark all year. It is not the brokers job to spruce up our registry activity. Our new corporate man has been with us for just on 7 months, if judged on the SP, or even new connections some would say performance has been less than hoped for.

Before I get the yes the but… My comment is not harsh at all, this new and well paid position has one major task, bring new money to AVB, most watchers expect funds, brokers, larger industry players, old connections with cash etc etc. This work is entirely separate to the worker bees who plan, dig ship and search for more in-ground value all in a remote part of the world, hardly the Old Darts accommodating environs.

Organising new look presentations and various meetings is all very good, however these sorts of day today activities do not measure the key performance area, certainly some I know expected to see cash attracted by now. I have no idea what the majors are content with, I think they do know they will get all they want and more in the long run, perhaps they are content enough to now have some eyes and ears on the inside, obviously they too would like a higher SP.

Make no mistake I am very positive on the stock and copper, even calling a 25% increase (does not seem to excite many in here) this Q off what I expect will be good on the ground results/production guidance etc, so this comment is not about team AVB’s performance as such.
