Liquidity is never a bad thing - let's face it, there has been ample selling to meet demand. If there was nobody to buy on the way up then there would be no up at all I know that you know about trading and trader behaviour but just think about how the average buy in of the new holders affects the support levels - it's a good thing to have buyers and I'm sure even some longer term holders took the opportunity to take profit and hand on the torch to some new blood.
