two possible reasons for THX wanting to sell their UMC holding:
1. To fund further tenement acquisitions and exploration.
2. To enable the directors to have more of an impact on the share price of their company . How could they justify paying themselves performance options for example? The THX share price is predominantly driven by the performance of a completely seperate company.
Do the directors want long term investors who believe in their skill and judgement, or do they want people holding on for the ride provided by UMC?
Just an opinion,
Joel
