I'm pretty confident there's no takeover attempts in play. Takeover activity almost always results in the target's SP appreciating, not capitulating like it is currently and as you noted, there have been no substantial shareholder notices to indicate anything remotely close to predatory activity in play.
As for Broker data, I have been trying to obtain that for myself with no success. I want to know who is behind the bulk of the selling, but even more so who is crossing stock. Unless you know a broker that is willing to send you some screenshots you would probably require some kind of professional subscription like IRESS or Bloomberg but those licenses are ridiculously expensive.
